the idea of
reformer for her

This is britta,
our founder
Happy welcome to this chapter!
I love working out with incredible women and creating spaces where women can feel safe while taking care of their health.

That’s why I continue building places where women can move, grow and feel supported. Seeing women support women brings me immense joy.

Together with all our trainers, I get to experience this feeling every day in our training sessions — and that’s what makes this work so meaningful.

what happened
so far ...
Movement has been the foundation of my entire professional life.

I began as a dancer and choreographer and continued to deepen this path through more than twelve years of formal education in movement and training. My background includes a full-time diploma in dance pedagogy and choreography, a state-certified qualification as a sports and gymnastics teacher, an extensive 980-hour yoga teacher training, as well as certifications in barre training, personal training, pre- and postnatal instruction and holistic wellbeing coaching.

Having trained on the Reformer from a very young age, I later expanded my expertise through the STOTT Reformer Pilates education.

This combination of artistic, athletic and pedagogical training allows me to work with bodies responsibly and sustainably — and to deeply understand the importance of strength, especially for women, at every stage of life.

WHY I DO THIS
My background as a professional dancer shaped me deeply — through years of training, auditions and performances. It gave me discipline, strength and a community I love. Some of the friendships from that time will stay with me for life.

But it also showed me how exhausting it can be to constantly be looked at, measured and evaluated. How uncomfortable it feels when your body is always part of the judgement — even in spaces you love. I know this feeling very well.

Today, the Reformer Pilates world brings something beautiful to many women: strength, confidence, connection. And that matters. This world has its place, and it deserves appreciation.

At the same time, I see how a new kind of pressure can quietly grow.
The pressure to look a certain way.
To fit into a certain aesthetic.
To be thin, but toned. Strong, but effortless. Perfectly styled while doing it.

And I know how easily women can start feeling like they don’t quite belong.

REFORMER FOR HER was created as a response to that feeling — not in opposition, but as an addition.
A space where women don’t have to perform.
Where bodies are not evaluated.
Where strength can be built without comparison.

A place where you can arrive as you are, feel safe, and stay long enough to trust your body again.

That is why I do this.
And why I will keep creating spaces for us.
